HOLA! I'm Xhico.
I'm an artist, designer, educator, and creative mentor with more than thirty-five years of experience helping ideas come to life through color, design, and visual storytelling. Throughout my career, I've worked across branding, illustration, surface pattern design, lettering, and creative education, helping artists and designers develop both their technical skills and creative confidence.
Today, my work focuses on teaching color, design, and creative strategy through online classes, mentorship programs, and community-based learning experiences. Whether I'm helping a designer build stronger collections, develop a signature style, or navigate the creative side of running a business, my goal is always the same: to make design feel more approachable, practical, and rewarding.
I'm the creator of Color Camp, an immersive color education experience for artists and designers, and founder of Xhico's Design Club, a creative community where artists can learn new skills, share their work, and connect with fellow creatives. For designers looking for deeper guidance and personalized feedback, I also host Feedback & Friends, a mentorship-focused space designed to help creatives gain clarity, direction, and momentum in their work. When I'm not teaching or designing, you'll usually find me sketching, collecting inspiration, experimenting with color palettes, or helping creatives turn their ideas into meaningful projects.
